A golf ball flight can change based on the strike of the ball from the club face. These forces involve impact of ball on the club face, swing path, and natural forces, like wind. Golf balls fly in an arc shape, the arc height and length changes based on the club used and the connection between club face and the ball. When a golf ball is in air you have to worry about how to maximize the flight. Also layers are used for better control and help eliminate the amount of error that can happen when striking a golf ball.
